How does the bus ticket work? 

We run a shuttle bus, so you don't have to worry about driving and parking. We'll include lots of pick up & drop off stops along the way for various accommodation options between Stanthorpe and New Tricks. Book a bus ticket and as long as you're staying close to the New England highway or Stanthorpe town centre, we'll get you there.

An approximate bus timetable:

1 pm departure from Stanthorpe, Southbound

10:30 pm departure from New Tricks, Northbound

The bus will not travel SOUTH of New Tricks.

 

What's the camping situation? 

Camping at the winery is free. When checking out with your festival tickets, you'll be able to specify how many campsites you need and whether you're bringing a caravan or trailer. You must fill this in or you will not be allocated a camp site. Each non caravan/trailer site will fit a car plus 1 large tent or 2 small tents.

 

You must arrive by sunset, and vehicles inside the camping area may not be moved after dark. Your campsite will be specified on arrival. They are all unpowered. There will be toilet facilities only, and these may be a few minutes easy walk from your campsite. Fires are stictly prohibited.

Guests are required to take everything home with them when they leave - please be respectful of the environment.

Please note, we only have limited campsites available so make sure to reserve one with your ticket before they are booked out!

 

Are children welcome? Dogs?

Children under 12 are free & welcome. Ages 12-18 are $30 each.

You must supervise your children at all times. We are a working farm with multiple open dams. You are responsible for your children and as part of our general Terms and Conditions, children must remain in the festival area at all times.

​

Unfortunately, pups will have to stay at home this time. We have farm dogs on the property and some band members may bring their dogs, however the festival lawn simply cannot support all of you beautiful people as well as your four legged buddies.

 

What is there to eat and drink?

Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the day and night. If you have pre-purchased a meal with your ticket, you'll be provided a meal token upon arrival, which can be used for any one item on the menu. The menu will include vego, GF and dairy free options

BYO food is welcome, and we encourage bringing snacks or even a platter for your picnic rug! 

 

BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited as the festival area is a licensed venue.

​

On Sunday morning, we will have a simple breakfast available and a coffee van for the essentials.

​

What should I bring? ​

• Shade - there will be some large umbrellas set up on the day, as well as nearby indoor and roofed areas, but you may want to bring extra shade/rain cover. Small marquees/cool cabanas are welcome as long as they are well anchored and don't impede others' view of the stage.

• Bring your picnic rugs, chairs, camping tables etc, to enable you to settle in comfortably. Eskys are welcome however no BYO alcohol is permitted.

• Warmth! Lyra sits at 750m above sealevel (we are on top of the Great Dividing Range!) so October nights are chilly. We cannot state this enough - bring your jumper or a woolly blanket!

• Water bottle - we will have a water refill station on site

• ID - we will be checking ID if you look under 25 years of age

• Your ticket! 

• If you're camping, you'll of course need your tent and bed! 

 

Will there be parking available?

Day parking and camp overflow parking will be plentiful and is approximately 50-150m from the festival area.

 

Accommodation?

There are numerous options in the local area. Ballandean is our nearest locale.

How's the accessibility? 

The property, facilities and entire festival area are wheel-chair friendly. The main grassy area can be soft and is steep in some places, however there are also plenty of concrete/paved areas in view of the stage. There will be ample lighting for moving around after dark, but it is a rural setting, so you should bring a torch if you prefer your path well-lit.

Your safety

We will have multiple first aid marshals and security guards on site for the duration of the festival. 

Spring in the country means snakes! This is their home too so please watch your step.
