About Lyra Farm
Locals from the region tell us that Lyra Farm has been in service for decades producing a broad range of fruits and vegetables,
from table grapes to cos lettuce.

While the land's recent use has largely been for intensive traditional farming the area is known to have supported rich and diverse ecosystems. We are working hard to restore the natural resources to peak health, not only to enhance the quality of the fruit we grow but also to support highly valued Category A and B Regulated Vegetation Areas.
We keep a constant eye out for the endangered and vulnerable species known to be part of those ecosystems.

Sitting back with a wine in hand on the patio, you can look out at the spectacular view of the valley stretching across the Granite Belt.
Lay out a picnic blanket on our large patch of grass
while you watch the clouds float by or the local ducks go about their business on the dam.

We're proud to be pursuing our Sustainable Wine Growing certification by embracing energy and water-efficient technologies, responsible waste management, and regenerative farming practices. Our goal is not just to reduce our carbon footprint, but to actively put carbon back into the soil, helping to create a more sustainable future for our planet.
From Vine to Glass.
While the nature of farming means we can't always source every single input from our own farm, we're dedicated to using wine grapes grown in Queensland’s renowned wine regions, particularly the Granite Belt.
Our commitment extends to crafting spirits at our Distillery in Albion, from locally grown, grape-based neutral alcohol, and incorporating native botanicals that echo the flavours of the wines produced at our Lyra Farm winery. We've even established a juniper berry nursery, with the aspiration of one day sourcing these key ingredients from our very own orchard.
